who are we ? |
Our own elegantly converted home was originally part of a farm that specialised in the rearing of working horses for ploughing. Located in the heart of the village, the house witnessed and withstood an eventful and turbulent history. Even today, shrapnel can be seen embedded in some parts of the walls and serves as a reminder of the suffering endured in the Great War.
During the Second World War the house was commandeered and used as a “Komandatur”. Peace reigns today within the house’s walled garden, a small river meanders through ans wild dicks come and go as they please.

On the left are garages and utility buildings for the agricultural side of our work. Look at the care that has gone into its renovation, as in the detail below. And on the right side of the courtyard is an old "pigeonnier", also renovated, down to the pigeon symbol atop the pointed gable.
